Bournemouth University is offering up to ten Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships to pursue a full-time taught postgraduate course. Scholarships include 50% fee reduction. The scholarship is paid as a reduction in student’s tuition fee for the duration of their course (excluding any repeat units). The application deadline is 31 May, 2016.

Lagos State Employment Trust Fund for Entrepreneurs 2017
The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (“LSETF” or “the Fund”), was established by The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund Law 2016 to provide financial support to residents of Lagos State, for job, wealth creation and to tackle unemployment.

About the Award: LSETF serves as an instrument to inspire the creative and innovative energies of all Lagos residents and reduce unemployment across the State. The Fund has the mandate to directly invest N25Billion in helping Lagos residents grow and scale their Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (“MSMEs”) or acquire skills to get better jobs.

University of Tsukuba offers a range of different scholarship programmes for international students to help cover tuition fees or living costs for fall 2016 intake. Students from developing countries are eligible to apply for this scholarship

The PEPP started out in 1995 as the Master’s Program in Policy Management and it was part of the Graduate School of International Political Economy of the University of Tsukuba. The objective of the Program in Economic and Public Policy (PEPP) is to provide, within the time frame of 18 months, training and the necessary skills for the conception, design, and implementation of development policies.

Eligibility: To apply to JJ/WBGSP, applicant must:
  • Be a national of a World Bank (WB) member country that is eligible to receive WB financing eligible developing country and not be a national of any country that is not eligible to receive the WB financing.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with superior academic achievement earned more than three (3) years before June 3rd 2016.
  • Not have received any scholarship funding to earn a Graduate degree or its equivalent from any sources funded by the government of Japan

The scholarship offers financial support to students from Black or Mixed African or Caribbean backgrounds who will be starting their undergraduate degree courses at UK universities in the autumn of 2017.

The Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR) is an independent, non-partisan pan-African not-for-profit organisation working to enhance research excellence in governance and public policy that contributes to the overall wellbeing of women and men.

    Eligibility: Program is open to all academic discipline
    • Must be from Akwa Ibom State
    • HND/Degree holders (Applicant should have graduated not more than 5years ago from the date of this application)
    • Maximum age requirement for the program is 35
    • Good Academic standing
    • Excellent writing abilities {clear, & professional writing}
    • Analytical & research skills, especially in prioritizing and concisely summarizing complex information
    • Professional work ethics and independent time management skills
    • Mature judgement and commitment to following all legislative ethics laws
    • Applicants should also demonstrate interest in learning legislative processes
