Group identifies sustainable chemistry as panacea for eco-innovation
The Nigeria International Chemical Sciences chapter of the American Chemical Society has identified the roles of sustainable Chemistry as the panacea for eco-innovation for equitable societies and industries. This was the thrust of the third annual symposium series of the Global Chemical Society themed ‘Sustainable Chemistry: Eco-Innovation for Equitable Societies and Industries’ held at the Le Meridien Hotel and Ibom Golf Resort between March 4 and 6, 2018. Addressing the gathering, the Chairman of the Nigerian International Chemical Sciences Chapter, Prof. Joshua Obaleye, described the American Chemical Society as a self-governed individual membership organisation of more than 200,000 members at all degree levels and in all fields of chemical sciences.
