Teachers in public secondary schools in Bayelsa State have issued a seven-day notice to the Seriake Dickson’s administration to resolve issues bordering on their welfare and working conditions. The teachers, acting under the aegis of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, gave the ultimatum in Yenagoa on Wednesday, 24-hours after the Nigeria Union Teachers in the state commenced a sit-at-home strike over eight-month salary arrears owed teachers.
